The A-model arc shaping device and angle shaping device are ideal for making signs using materials such as acrylic. These two devices are based on the previous generation of hot bending tools, and they’ve been innovated and upgraded with PTC heating components to ensure safety, better heating efficiency with less energy consumption, faster heating-up, longer service life. The heating temperature is automatically controlled, saving the trouble of turning any thermostats, thus very easy to use. The heat-conduction aluminum panels guarantee even and stable heating for the materials processed, ensuring the proper contact between the materials and the heating plates. Plastic materials within a thickness of 1.5mm—4mm can be processed with the devices, letting out no smokes or vapors at all while heated and softened very quickly. The heating plates have undergone oxidation treatment, and don’t get sticky with the materials processed. The devices also feature simple and easy-to-use design, with heat-proof ABS to make the outer case. The bottoms, edges of the heating parts and the heating plates are flat and even, so the devices can directly process sheet materials with a max width of nearly 100mm.
Connect the cable to power and switch on the power, wait for about 60 seconds before processing. Choose the desired part of the acrylic (or other plastics) sheet material where you want to have the angle or arc, and then hold the sheet between the lower and upper heating panels, keeping the sheet pressed against the panels for a few seconds to make the sheet soften. After releasing the sheet from the device, make it in any angle or arc you want, and then fix that with glue. While holding and pressing the sheet between the heating panels, use proper strength. If pressed too hard, the sheet may not fit to the heating panels smoothly. Where the sheet fits to the heating panels, the heat at the lower side of the sheet material will change more drastically, so this lower side of the sheet shall be pressed a little bit harder to the heating panel, while the upper side of the sheet pressed a little lighter, making the sheet heated evenly. If the arc part to be processed is wider than the heating panels, then the arc part of the sheet can be heated successively to 2—3 times, thus making a bended arc within 150mm. It takes little time to heat up the devices, so it’s very quick to restart them. If not in use for 3 minutes, please switch them off to save power. Don’t put heating parts on cables, so to avoid any risks. If not in use for a long time, unplug the cable, and store the devices after the heating panels temperature drops below 50 centigrade.
